Eridge Station

Eridge makes the ideal starting point for a trip along the line. The station is clearly signposted off the A26 between Crowborough and Tunbridge Wells and has a 100 space car park. The car park operator is currently charging £2.70 All Day Monday - Saturday and just £2 on Sunday, making it cheaper than town centre alternatives.  There is also very limited (free) road parking in front of the station building. Of course, if coming from London or Surrey (on days we operate to Eridge), it makes good sense to arrive on one of Southern's Uckfield line trains direct from London Bridge, East Croydon, Oxted, Crowborough or Uckfield.
The lovely old station first opened in 1868, and today represents the epitome of the country station in the south of England. The station is an ideal starting point for a country walk such as the Eridge circular, and for cyclists is located on National cycle route 21.  The station is also adjacent to "The Huntsman" public house.
Southern trains from London Bridge, East Croydon and Uckfield call at Platform 1, while Spa Valley services use Platforms 2 and 3, and where possible trains are timed to connect. A limited selection of drinks and snacks are available here. Spa Valley line tickets are sold from the window on Platforms 2 and 3.
Additionally a variety of bus routes stop on the A26 about 100yards from the station.  This at time of writing includes routes 28, 29, 228 & 229.
