Visit of Ex-L&SWR "Beattie Well Tank" No. 30587
During the first half of May 2007, the National Railway Museum's L&SWR Beattie Well tank No. 30587 made a brief visit to Kent to star in our 10th Anniversary Steam Gala. The engine also steamed over the first May Bank Holiday weekend, where it hauled passenger trains and a member's brake van special. The locomotive visited from its home on the Bodmin and Wenford Railway, whilst on its way to meeting up with its twin No. 30585.
Here are some pictures from its visit.
