Fish and Chip Specials & Real Ale Trains

Join the train for the Spa Valley Fish and Chip Special, and enjoy a traditional fish meal served to you, as you travel through the Kentish countryside on selected Saturday evenings throughout 2008.

For the price of £11 you can travel on two return trips on the railway and be served with a meal of your choice from the list below.

For standard class travel, food is served in a heat retaining container, normally prior to the departure of the 18:40 train. Premier class options are available on occasions.

Drinks available including Real Ale from local breweries, from our bar car ‘Kate’.

Serviettes and condiments are all provided. If you wish you can bring your own plate and cutlery. A hand wipe will be provided for you after your meal.

Advance booking is essential so that we can have your meal ready on the day. The food will be served in heat retentive containers to ensure your order is kept hot (Standard Class only).

Small chip portions and vegetarian options are available. Please enquire when booking.

Seats for the Real Ale Train only, are available for £5 (for two return trips), and may either be booked in advance or will be available on the day subject to space being available.

Please select your meal from the above options and ring our booking office on 01892 537715 at weekends, or visit our booking office at Tunbridge Wells West. Bookings are open now and will close three days prior to the day of travel.

Additional dates may be added subject to demand or for group bookings. Please check this website for any additional dates.

(D) - Those dates with this symbol next to it means the trains will be hauled by one of our heritage diesels. All other trains will be steam hauled, subject to availability.
