Visit of Jinty 47493 to the Swanage Railway

Jinty 47493 made a late summer holiday to Dorset to star in the Swanage Railway's annual Steam Gala over the weekend of the 9th and 10th September. The engine made a number of trips over the length of the line, hauling 5 coaches with ease, as well as the shorter Corfe Castle - Norden shuttle service. It starred alongside the home fleet of Standard 4 Tanks 80078 and 80104, Taff Vale Tank 6695 and Pannier Tank 6412, which was on a summer loan from the West Somerset Railway.
