Join us for a weekend of Deltic running in the High Weald!
Class 55 55019 'Royal Highland Fusilier' visiting us this Summer courtesy of the Deltic Preservation Society will be in action alongside our standard Green timetable trains on Saturday 11th & Sunday 12th August hauling 3CIG 1497 for a total of five return trips per day between Tunbridge Wells West and Eridge.
The BR Blue 'Deltic', based at Barrow Hill and preserved by the Deltic Preservation Society in 1982 will certainly look smart paired with matching BR Blue & Grey rolling stock in the form of Southern Region Class 421 3CIG No. 1497.

55019 will haul five return trips between Tunbridge Wells West and Eridge each day, at Eridge and Tunbridge Wells West 33063 will be on hand to assist in shunt releasing the train, our headshunt at Tunbridge Wells West is only long enough for a Standard 5 or Class 47 and at Eridge we lack the facilities to run round.
The Green timetable will be in action for the other trains which are running that weekend, these will use the visiting Lancashire & Yorkshire 0-6-0 A-Class No.52322 and Class 17 D8568 which is appearing courtesy of the Diesel Traction Group.
Deltic departures from Tunbridge Wells West will be at: 09:45, 11:00, 12:45, 14:25 & 16:05 (LAST TRAIN OF THE DAY)
Deltic departures from Eridge will be at: 10:20, 12:00, 13:40, 15:20 & 16:35 (LAST TRAIN OF THE DAY)
You MUST bring your physical printed or e-ticket with you on the day to show the train crew.
