Where do I come for my experience?
Please see this link for details of where we are and how to get to us by car, bus or National Rail train service.
Which timetable operates on the day I want to travel?
Please see this link to see which timetables are operated - the colour of the booking link matches the timetable operating on that date.
What time can I travel?
E-Tickets for travel only are valid all day on all services on the date of travel unless advertised elsewhere. On-train dining events (SVS2C, SVVS2 and SVVS4 vouchers) can be used on other services on the date of travel, but the food service only takes place on the booked train services.
The website is advising I have to pay?
A cost will appear on the 'Your Shopping Cart' screen however, as long as your voucher is redeemed at Checkout, you won't be charged once you click Submit Order to Us at Checkout.
I have more than one travel for two voucher - how do I book?
Please book each voucher separately following the guidance above.
I have a SVSAT voucher in two parts - how do I book?
The SVSAT voucher has two serial numbers and two PIN codes. The part ending in /1 can be booked using the links above. The part ending in /2 is for your Afternoon Tea and your Virgin Experience Days voucher provider will provide guidance on how to redeem this.
I have a SVR1N voucher in two parts - how do I book?
The SVR1N voucher has two serial numbers and two PIN codes. The part ending in /2 can be booked using the links above. The part ending in /1 is for your hotel stay and your Virgin Experience Days voucher provider will provide guidance on how to redeem this.
My voucher code expires soon, can it be extended or exchanged?
You will need to contact your voucher provider for assistance with this. Their help page here may be of assistance, you can also contact them via Live Chat. Please note we cannot redeem expired vouchers and we cannot extend voucher validity dates ourselves.
I've redeemed my Travel for Two voucher - what time trains can I travel on?
Unless stated otherwise, trains will operate to our standard timetable at this link and you can travel on any train as part of your voucher, including breaking your journey.
I've redeemed my voucher but not received an e-ticket?
Please check your spam/junk folder for your email service as they sometimes are routed there.
Please also note that after redeeming your voucher as per step 5 above, you must also complete the rest of checkout and click Submit Order to Us at the bottom of the page for your order to be processed - you'll see a six digit booking reference on the screen if your booking has been successful.
I am trying to book a SVS2C voucher but you have no availability - what can we do?
Virgin Experience Days do offer a different voucher (link here) which doesn't come with the Cream Tea should you wish to just travel with us, or an alternative dining event voucher (link here) which does offer an off-train dining experience.
To exchange your voucher for an alternative voucher, please contact Virgin Experience Days through their website by vising the MyVoucher section of their website, and selecting the Exchange your Voucher option within.

I am trying to book a SVVS2 or SVVS4 voucher but you have no availability - what can we do?
To exchange your voucher for an alternative voucher, please contact Virgin Experience Days through their website by vising the MyVoucher section of their website, and selecting the Exchange your Voucher option within. There are alternative experiences (link here) which would allow you to still travel with us and enjoy an alternative dining option off train.
