A fixture in our calendar since 2003 is the Summer Diesel Gala, showcasing classic heritage diesel traction between Tunbridge Wells West and Eridge. This is the hold page for the event in 2024 and further details will follow in due course.

Tunbridge Wells West

• Station shop, complete with model railway items, drinks and light refreshments
• Model railway
• Film shows
• Access to our locomotive shed

Groombridge

• Trains crossing throughout
• Catering kiosk on the station platform serving hot and cold drinks and light refreshments
• The Junction Inn pub, 10% discount available on food menu items upon presentation of a Spa Valley Railway ticket
• Lots of books on our bookstall under the canopy, grab a bargain

Eridge

• Mainline connections with Southern services to Central London, East Croydon, Oxted and Uckfield
• Huntsman Pub, 10% discount on their menu for Spa Valley Railway ticket holders
• Catering outlet on the station platform serving hot and cold drinks and light refreshments

Evening Dining Trains – Day Rover ticket holders can just travel non-dining on these trains too but we do have combined dinner and rover tickets now available!

• Fish & Chip Supper – Combined Day Rover and Fish & Chip Supper tickets are available, this means we'll sort out your evening meal for you and you can enjoy classic diesel traction and dinner on board the train without the need to leave our railway!
• Real Ale Train

Tickets
Day Rover tickets are valid ALL DAY and this includes travel (not including food) on the evening dining trains too. You do not need to buy additional tickets just to travel on the evening dining trains.
