Throwback to the Waterloo to Exeter Route – Steam & Heritage Diesels from the 1960s Day!

Thursday 1st August

Join us as we head to the West Country and look back at the days of the London Waterloo to Exeter route!
We're turning back to the clock to recreate the days of old on the London Waterloo to Exeter railway where in the 1960s, 70s and 80s Bulleid Pacific’s, Class 33s and Class 50s once ruled supreme taking tourists on their holidays or commuters to London.

We're home to Bulleid Pacific 34053 'Sir Keith Park' which will have just returned to service following an overhaul by Southern Locomotives Limited and visiting for our Summer Diesel Gala the following three days is Class 33/2 33202 'Dennis G. Robinson' and Clas 50 50021 'Rodney'. This gives us the perfect opportunity to increase our train service for the day along with our Class 207 DEMU 1317 to take you back to what was affectionately known as 'Route 62'.
