Join us for one of our popular Murder Mystery evenings!Theres been a murder in the sleepy little Cornish village of Morlington Hill during the 1940s and the police have drawn a blank on apprehending the villain! We're calling on you to sleuth it out and find the murderer over a few drinks and supper on board one of our heritage trains! This service is scheduled to be hauled by both a steam locomotive and a heritage diesel locomotive, subject to availability.
Performed by a regular group of professional actors including: Abi Harris, Radley Mason and Max Day you can come along to try your hand at solving a murder, it is up to you to find out whodunnit, you might even win a prize!
The evening starts at Tunbridge Wells West Station with a briefing at 18:15 sharp, then we transfer to our train where the story gets more interesting as the night draws in. On our way out of Tunbridge Wells West enjoy a Fish and Chip supper as you travel through the High Weald countryside to Eridge.
Upon arrival at our country station more of the story will unfold and you will need to be on the platform not to miss the action, your train will return to Tunbridge Wells West and another trip to Eridge to follow, giving you time to come up with who you think may have committed the dastardly deed! Our Bar car "Kate" selling alcoholic beverages including beers, ciders, lagers, wines and soft drinks will be open throughout the evening.
The evening finishes back at Tunbridge Wells West in our shed when all will become clear. These evenings are great fun in groups so why not get a party together for this unique evening?
Every performance of the Morlington Mysteries is different, they are scripted each time to be a different storyline so even if you did every one of the year they'd be different each time!
